Terracotta embroidered linen bedspread
The pattern shows curls embroidered with a silk thread, turning into loops on a warm red brick linen. The semi manual embroidery "aghabani" technique is part of a remarkable savoir-faire initiated in Aleppo, Syria more than 150 years ago.
This bedspread took 6 hours of work and requires a perfect coordination hand-eye, with a specific embroidery machine.
