Embroidered Turquoise Blue Silk Music Festival Top
This lightweight top is created with a vintage silk from the 50s, is part of our private collection of antique textiles. The top is made of turquoise blue silk crepe and is lined. Bare back, with an adjustable chain which can be opened.
The chains slide on the front and the back is sawn with an elastic. The shape is slightly flared at the bottom. The embroideries show large leaves and flowers, embroidered with gold thread with chain stich and decorated with sequins.
A cheerful garment that will be ideal for a music festival or a girls' night.
The size ranges from S to M, or 36/38. (the model in the photos is a size 38)
All our silks are vintage and can show small signs of fatigue! We try to select the most beautiful pieces to create unique and precious clothes.
Care : dry clean or hand wash with cold water
This top is handmade in a shanty town in Beirut, Lebanon, by a team of marginalized women. They belong to the Tahaddi community, a large NGO who tackles poverty. Few years they created a social branch "Tahaddi sewing atelier" which trains and employs women. I'm proud and happy to partner with them!
