Upcycled claustra table lamp in velvet red

Claustra, a staple of Mediterranean architecture, serve as both practical and aesthetic elements, allowing air to circulate while casting shadows for shade. Having salvaged a few in Beirut, I envisioned repurposing them into charming table lamps. Originally crafted from clay, they've been revitalized with velvet red paint. Paired with block-printed cotton lampshades, these unique creations bring a touch of Mediterranean flair to any corner of your home.
