Vintage linen salmon purse

This salmon colored clutch bag has quite a history. The vintage linen was recovered from a collection of antique towels featuring a delicate work of appliqué, with tiny flowers and leaves. Originally white, we decided to hand dye it in salmon.

We then applied adorable embroidered leaves to the linen. The bag is lined with a Kantha silk in shades of emerald that contrasts nicely with the salmon. The bag is equipped with a light silver chain.
