Original Watercolor and Mixed Media 25X31 The Yellow Building with Curtains

This yellow façade belongs to my neighbors. I've always loved the combination of its color with the bright green of the balconies. It was finally time for me to paint it!

Unfortunately, most of the residents have left the building, seeking gentler skies elsewhere, no longer wishing to live in their country — Lebanon — so uncertain and fragile. Life has disappeared from these balconies; the shutters remain closed.

So, I decided to breathe a little life back into it through my collages: laundry dances in the breeze, and if the shutters or curtains are drawn, it’s simply to block out the sun. Wisteria, bougainvillea, and lush green plants now bring warmth to the terraces. Would you live there?

• When shipping in France and Europe, the watecolor comes with glass. We do not refund the glass if it breaks,  eventhough we pack carefully. Glass can easily be replaced at a very low price.
