Original Watercolor Are We in Venice? 50X35

A hint of Venice dances on these sunlit façades... At the beginning of the 20th century, bourgeois houses were flourishing in Beirut, and their architecture drew inspiration from various popular styles: Marseille tiles, Venetian arches, and Mediterranean cement tiles were distinctive features that came together to form a harmonious and charming whole. I enjoyed painting this watercolor in warm, luminous tones that reflect the color of the stone.
