Original Watercolor : Ochre Echoes of Beirut 28X28

This luminous house, painted in warm shades of ochre and saffron yellow, now stands abandoned in the heart of Beirut, in the La Sagesse neighborhood. Overshadowed by the surrounding high-rises, it remains a silent witness to what neighborhood life once was—graceful mansions with triple arches and star-patterned cement tiles.

During one of my urban walks, I stumbled upon this hidden gem, tucked away in a maze of alleys and staircases. I added a few dried flowers to my work, echoing the slow decline of these stones now overtaken by vegetation. So much beauty endures, despite it all.
