On one of my recent urban wanderings through Beirut, I was lucky enough to step inside this house near the Green Line.
Its state of decay felt ominous, and I sensed an urgency—to photograph it, then to paint it.
Perhaps one day, its absent owners will grow concerned... and come back to save it.
