Collection: Watercolor

Watercolor is a superb medium for expressing emotions: it is fluid and unpredictable; it flows and runs beneath the brush, spreads out, and eventually sets, with its pigments migrating from top to bottom in a gradient of colors. You can layer the washes, sometimes up to 4 or 5 layers, and the resulting effect creates a sense of depth and texture, often necessary when painting the wear and tear of time. Watercolor is also a tool for emotional release: one must be willing to let go, and it is then that feelings can be expressed freely, sometimes furiously, as a manifestation of our inner state. For me, this medium has naturally emerged as the most suitable for conveying my subjects.
