Original Watercolor and Collage The Lady at the Fountain 40X40

It is easy to imagine the life of this fictional princess in her home in the heart of Achrafieh, Beirut... watching happy days go by in the lush garden and cooling off by the fountain. Both the fountain and this house, with its double staircase, seem to be on the verge of restoration. When I photographed it a few months ago, I noticed bags of cement and piles of stones gathered in the courtyard. In the meantime, this collage of paper and marquetry scraps brings it back to life for a moment.

• We do not replace the glass if broken during transportation eventhough we pack very carefully. The glass can be easily replaced at low cost.
