“I fall for balconies…Each time, my imagination fearlessly bursts with connections at the speed of light, making insane plans to transform volutes into artworks. It is an obsessive, almost sick, feeling: I am only happy when 30 kilograms of rusty iron irremediably wreck my pants and bruise my arms, thighs, and toes. I am on a quest for the perfect piece, whose patina exudes charm and authenticity, which still bears its rivets or clamping clips…” Extract of the book “From Beirut to Boston, joys and tribulations of a social entrepreneur”
We fell for this gate salvaged in Burgundy, France. Those aligned circles with broken wings have so much charm. We tried to upcycle it without distorting it. The “wings” are slightly covered with gold and the beige conical raffia shade perfectly matches the base lamp.
- Base is 50 x 10 cm x H25/50 with the shade - 20” x 4” x H10”/20” with the shade.
- The lamp is equipped with a textile wiring cord with a French plug and can be used in other countries with an adapter.

“I bought a lamp at [beyt] and it’s such happiness therapy! I look at it, recognize its beauty and everything linked with it.”
